The ITHACA Final Conference will be held in Brussels on 30 January 2025 at the Royal Flemish Theatre.
The ITHACA team is navigating towards the conclusion of this 4-year project, which has enriched many with its activities: the researchers, historians, sociologists, anthropologists, geographers who have collected, analysed and transferred to its database rich and diverse migration narratives; practitioners (public officers, NGO representatives, journalists, lawyers) who have participated in elaborating recommendations on migration research and policy issues; people with migration experiences who have shared their stories with the ITHACA team to make them available for further research and consultation.
To celebrate this journey and to tell new audiences about the extensive work done, the ITHACA team invites you to the final conference of the project, which will be held in Brussels on 30 January 2025 at the Royal Flemish Theatre (the detailed agenda will be posted in the website and on social media soon!).
During the conference, the teams will present the ITHACA Platform, the main outcome of 4 full years of research, stakeholder engagement and policy reflections. The audience will also have the opportunity to listen to some of the stories that are preserved on the project platform, and a selection of the finalist stories from the ITHACA Diary Contest.
